The "bu" usually follows the rules & they say their correct sounds. For example: bus. bump, butter
However, there are approximately 8 root words with "bu" in which the "u" isn't making it's usual sound "uhh".
For instance, you can hear the "u" say "oo" in "buoy" or "A" in "bury".
Write the irregular "bu" words.
